It could be an old tried and true favorite, it could be something I have just discovered, a new release by an artist or band you already know, and this week, it comes at a recommendation of another member of the Power 96 team. 08/08/16: This week's featured song is "Mercury" by indie quintet The Weeks. The band got their start in 2006 in Jackson, Mississippi, when brothers Cyle Barnes and Cain Barnes along with friends Chaz Lindsay, Payton Randolph and Samuel Williams decided to create a band. That line-up lasted only a matter of days before the band saw changes and currently sits as with four members. The group has released six studio albums.
