NRHEG Still Seeking Respect in Latest Class 2A Boys Basketball Rankings

The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers are still unbeaten and just cracked the top 10 in Class 2A in the latest Minnesota Basketball News rankings done for the Associated Press.

The Panthers are ranked ninth and Gopher Conference opponent Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is 15th.

Minnehaha Academy tops the Class 2A list with Caledonia second and Lake City seventh.

In other classes, Minnesota Basketball News top 20 rankings have Minneapolis still on top in Class 1A and Goodhue is fourth. Unbeaten Cleveland is ninth, Spring Grove 14th.

In Class 3A, Faribault dropped to 15th and Northfield is 19th. DeLaSalle has been on top all season and Austin ranks seventh. The Waseca Blue Jays are ninth.

In Class 4A, Champlin Park tops the rankings list. Lakeville North is third, Apple Valley fifth and New Prague ninth. The Big Nine Conference's Rochester John Marshall is 20th in Class 4A.
