In an announcement dated November 7th on the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva school districts website, superintendent Dale Carlson wrote that secondary students beginning tomorrow will be moved to the all distance learning model from what had previously been a hybrid learning model. There will be no classes today for NRHEG secondary students to enable teachers to prepare for the all distance learning model.

Superintendent Dale Carlson did state online that "the Elementary School will remain in Hybrid Learning. However, this could change as well depending on the metrics we are following and/or the ability to adequately staff our classrooms and building."

Secondary students will be distance learning through Thanksgiving according to the online posted announcement. Carlson stated online that "a tentative return to hybrid learning set for Monday, November 30."

As far as athletics for students who attend NRHEG, the announcement from Superintendent Carlson stated that "Information regarding activities and meals for students will be shared in a separate communication."

The online Gopher Conference calendar doesn't show any canceled games/practices at this point in time, but the calendar may not reflect any changes made recently.

On the topic of COVID-19, today and tomorrow there will be free testing in Owatonna at the Armory from noon to 6pm each day, people who want to be tested DO NOT need to be exhibiting symptoms.
