There is a lot to love about Minnesota, from the well-loved North Shore to the beautiful southern bluffs. However, it can be difficult to take it all in if you don't have a great means of transportation.

Luckily many towns in Minnesota are extremely walkable, such as the delightful town of Hopkins, which is full of museums, restaurants, and other entertainment.

Hopkins is located just west of the Twin Cities. The town has a population of 18,000 and a marvelous downtown area.

The historic Main Street, called Mainstreet, dates back to the early 1900s. Interestingly enough, a lot of the original buildings still stand, but most have been repurposed.

The best thing about this Minnesota town is its walkability. Visitors can find numerous amenities within a 1/4-mile radius. In other words, if you love strolling through small towns, you've got to add Hopkins to your list.
