The Owatonna Parks and Recreation Department announced the judging results of the Bold and Cold snow sculpture contest. They are on display in Central Park and the department states in an email, "They'll be available for viewing until they melt." With forecast highs below zero for the middle part of the week, it's safe to say they should remain standing. Temperatures could reach the middle 30's (above) by Saturday.

The "Owl" sculpture by the Spencer family earned the top prize of $100 Chamber Dollars. Second place is "Fish" by the Frozen North/John Donkers family for the $50 Chamber Bucks prize. "Pint Glass" by Foremost Brewery won Bold & Cold gloves for finishing in third.

Several events that had to be postponed by the extremely cold weather during Owatonna's Bold and Cold weekend are rescheduled for Saturday, February 16. Rock on Ice, Park and Rec On-The-Go and bocce ball will occur then.

Owatonna Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on the creation of a Master Plan.
