The Power 96 Cool One I chose yesterday was "Radio Nowhwere" and came from Bruce Springsteen's 15th studio album, Magic, released in September 2007. "Radio Nowhere" made it to a dismal No. 102 on the U.S. charts, which, I feel, doesn't reflect how strong this song is. If you missed it yesterday, give it a spin; it's one of Springsteen's more powerful and rockin' tunes in my opinion. Other tracks of interest are "My Own Worst Enemy," "Gypsy Biker" and "Long Walk Home."

With Magic we see the return of the E Street Band, the last album they had recorded together had been 2002's The Rising. The album itself topped the U.S. Billboard 200 at No. 1 and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album but ended up losing out to Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace by the Foo Fighters.

This afternoon's featured Power 96 Cool One, brought to you courtesy of Kelly's Auto Parts, comes from a band named after a dog. Listen to find out what artist and song I'll track next at 4:35 p.m. today.
