Based out of Minneapolis, yesterday's Power 96 Cool One was Crow and their 1969 hit single "Evil Woman (Don't Play Your Games With Me)," which peaked at No. 19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 from their debut album, Crow Music.

Crow is a band that saw its heyday in the early '70s, but unfortunately, in my opinion, between band member lineup changes and a record company, Amaret, that was too small to handle their artists, the band failed to take off and become anything but a one hit wonder. Which is too bad since they are a talented bunch of guys that knew how to rock. I was able to catch one of their shows many years ago and they really rocked the joint. You can check them out at their website.

This afternoon's Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts in Faribault, comes from a hard rock band made up of both American and British members. Find out who it is and what deep track I'll play from them at 4:35PM today.
