Tuesday's Power 96 Cool One was Disturbed's cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic "The Sound of Silence" from their August 2015 release Immortalized. It made it onto several charts, hitting No. 69 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 34 on the U.S. Alternative chart, No. 4 on U.S. Hot Rock Songs, No. 1 on the U.S. Hard Rock Digital Songs and No. 1 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock chart. Immortalized also charted two other No. 1 U.S. Mainstream Rock singles, "The Vengeful One" and "The Light." The album also topped out at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200. As a matter of fact, their past five albums dating back to 2002's Believe have reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Join me this afternoon for the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault. Today I feature a British rock band that was one of the first groups to use twin lead guitars. Find out who it is at 4:35PM on Power 96.
