Power 96 Cool One Recap: Lenny Kravitz

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One is the title track from Lenny Kravitz's September 1989 release, Let Love Rule. As his debut album, it charted at No. 61 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 56 on the UK Albums Chart. As his debut single, "Let Love Rule" made it to No. 89 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 23 on the Mainstream Rock chart and No. 5 on the Alternative Songs chart. In the UK the single went to No. 39.

Kravitz is a multi-talented artist. As an accomplished singer and songwriter, he often handles the recording of several instruments used in the production of his albums. He's also served as record producer and arranger and has also acted in two of the Hunger Games movies as the lead character's creative stylist, as well as roles in other movies.
