Power 96 Cool One Recap: NiteRain

Yesterday, on the Power 96 Cool One, I tracked a band from Norway called NiteRain and a tune called "My World." Their debut album, Crossfire, was released about a year and a half ago in November 2013.

NiteRain has a sound reminiscent of Motley Crue or Poison, but unlike these two bands, Crossfire lacks any ballads. Like AC/DC, this album is filled with straight ahead rockers that will pull you in with their infectious hooks and blow you away with their monster riffs and strong melodies. According to their website, http://www.niterain.no/, the band is working on the second album, Vendetta. Upon its release, they plan a major U.S. tour later this year.
