Power 96 Cool One Recap: Skid Row

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One artist was Skid Row. I tracked the tune "Wasted Time" from Slave to the Grind, which I consider to be one of the best heavy metal albums out of the early '90s. Released as the the third single from their sophomore effort, it made it to No. 88 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 30 on the U.S. Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Meanwhile the album itself made a name for itself by being the first heavy metal album to debut at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 100. By the way, a bit of trivia, there were two different versions of Slave to the Grind released, the original which contained the track "Get the F@#K Out" and a clean version that replaced that track with "Beggars Day."
