Real Estate Taxes Due Friday

The first thing I will do Friday when I get back to Faribault from the Farm Broadcasters Convention in Kansas City is get the second half of the farm real estate taxes in the mail. Yes, the second half must be paid or postmarked by November 15, 2019. The second half of farm real estate taxes has been due in November every since I began farming.

However, during the fall harvest it is easy to be so focused on harvest and trying to get the tillage done it is easy to forget about the real estate taxes! I did forget a few years ago and there was no "grace period." I was charged a late fee but it least my name was not published in the local paper for having delinquent real estate taxes due! So, get those real estate taxes paid or mailed Friday!
