Rice County Crash Victim Identified

Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn updated information from a motor vehicle fatality that happened approximately 1:19 a.m. Saturday.

The one vehicle accident occurred at Iona Avenue and Isanti Avenue in Morristown Township.

Sheriff Dunn says killed in the accident was Ronald K. Mosher, age 52 of Morristown.

The description from a Rice County Sheriff's Office News Release Saturday was, "Rice County deputies, Morristown Fire/Rescue and North Ambulance were dispatched to a single vehicle crash."

"Upon arrival, it appeared a vehicle left the roadway and hit a field approach at a high speed and rolled over.  A lone adult male was ejected from the vehicle.  He was found unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene."

"The crash remains under investigation by the Rice County Sheriff's Office.  The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol."

Sheriff Dunn concludes the updated information by saying, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mosher family."
