Rochester Man Killed in I-90 Crash Sunday Morning

Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was killed Sunday in a car crash on I-90.

The State Patrol identified the victim as 59-year-old Thomas Schwerzler. The crash report says he was driving west on I-90 near the Marion Rest Area when his car left the roadway and struck a tree.

Schwerzler was alone in the vehicle when the deadly crash occurred just before 11 AM. The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and first responders from Eyota Ambulance and the Eyota Fire Department were also called to the scene.
