Rochester Woman Charged with Fleeing with Wanted Sex Offender
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman who fled with a man who was wanted in a Stewartville child sex case is now facing prosecution.
A charge of aiding an offender has been filed against 29-year-old Carolann Dut.
The criminal complaint says Dut went with 24-year-old Majed Ijong when he fled Olmsted County last year after he learned he was being charged in the sex case. The two were caught in California in November.
Dut has been ordered to make her first court appearance next month.
Ijong’s criminal sexual conduct case was recently put on hold after he was ruled incompetent to stand trial.
