Looking back at my high school years I now realize that I wasted a lot of time and missed a lot of opportunities. Spencer Speltz won't have those regrets. He just wrapped up a busy senior year at Lewiston-Altura. He played several sports and worked very hard in the classroom to achieve a very rare feat.

Post-secondary classes give high school students the chance to get a jump start on earning college credits. ABC 6 news says Spencer was a sophomore when he decided to take advantage of the opportunity and started racking up college credits. The Winona Daily News reports that from his sophomore year through his senior year he earned enough credits to get his associate's degree - several weeks before he got his high school diploma!
