The 13th Annual Studio ARTour is this weekend in the Northfield, Farmington and Faribault areas.

Artists from those areas welcome you to their studios and our colors should be peaking in this area this weekend.

Twenty two studios are on this year's tour and 39 artists.

Judy Saye-Willis stops by KDHL for AM Minnesota this morning.

The event takes place Saturday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Some of the studios will also be open Friday, October 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

You'll experience all kinds of art.  Painting, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, glass, metalwork, photography and more.

There are pictures and more details available at www.studioARTour.com.

Many of the studios on the tour are handicap accessible.

An artist in Nerstrand, Curtis Ingvoldstad is also featured with his custom wood sculptures and rustic slab furniture.

If you can't tune in 9:30 a.m. then go to our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio and watch at a more convenient time for you.  The program should be uploaded by mid-afternoon.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
