Good news gamers, Nintendo is set to release their retro console, Super NES Classic Edition. For Christmas this past year I had hoped to get my hands on a Nintendo Classic Edition game console, but because of the limited numbers that were released it didn't work out. Now comes the news that Nintendo will be releasing a Super NES Classic Edition this fall on September 29. According to their website, Nintendo.com, this game machine will be loaded with classic gamer favorites including The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past,   Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, Super Metroid and the games I'll probably play the most, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. In all, there will be 21 pre-installed games on this mini version of the original system, which easily plugs into your high-def TV via an included HDMI cable.

The nice thing is the Super NES Classic Edition retails for an affordable $79.99 and comes with controllers for two players. Now I'm just hoping they release a larger quantity of this version of their classic game console.
