Stop In! Small St. Paul Restaurant Has Drool-Worthy Burgers
Despite being home to some incredible dining options, the big cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis can be overwhelming, from large crowds to expensive plates to long waits.
However, if you're looking for a restaurant with great prices, a small-town feel, and outstanding burgers, you've got to add Groveland Tap to your list.
Groveland Tap, located at 1834 St. Clair Ave. in St. Paul, has numerous delicious tap beers and burgers for order.
The little hole-in-the-wall eatery is unforgettable. The inside is quaint and full of an insane amount of old tap handles.
The Lucy's are perhaps the most popular item on the menu.
When visiting this past weekend, my friend ordered the Ellsworth Lucy. He had nothing but positive things to say. (I stole a cheese curd, and I have to say, it lived up to the hype.)
I ended up going with the Stroganoff Burger simply because I love mushrooms.
I would like to note that vegetarians also can enjoy this fantastic burger joint. The Wild Rice Burger and the Beyond Burger are two wonderful meatless options.
The menu also includes sandwiches and wraps for those who aren't interested in a burger.
Though the burgers may be the main attraction, the tap beers are worthy of equal attention.
With 25 taps, everyone is sure to find something enjoyable. There are ciders, chocolate ales, lagers, and even some Liftbridge root beer on tap.
They also have a decent selection of wine and hard liquor.
