Summer is coming.  And as we may be very happy for that, especially since we are seemingly heading in the right direction as far as the pandemic goes, and more things could be back to normal, get ready for your air conditioner and maybe your sprinklers to get a workout.

The Farmer's Almanac predicts that this Summer will be little warm-ish.

Summer will be hotter and drier than normal, with the hottest periods in early June, early July, and mid- and late August.

And as we get into the Fall, like September and October, it will be cooler and wetter.  But if you are planning some outdoor activities throughout the Summer, that isn't a horrible forecast.  Well, that is unless you can't stand the heat. Find some water, lake time, air conditioned buildings, that sort of thing.  I will say that I do like being able to plan some outdoor activities without worrying that it's going to be rained out.  But on the other hand we do like some rain so you don't have to spend lots of money on endless hours of watering your lawn and plants.  So on that side of it, that's not a great forecast.  Can we get a happy medium up in here?

It's time to plan a lot of time of "going to the lake" this Summer.  And hopefully more things open up to 100% capacity.  We need that for the Summer music festivals and community festivals to happen.  Parades, street dances, and outdoor activities.  We are all hoping for the best on that front.

Cheers to Summer!
