On their Facebook page, the New Richland Police Department is asking the public's assistance in obtaining information in regards to an incident that recently happened in New Richland.  Two juvenile females were walking in the city when they were approached by a male in a vehicle who demanded they get into his vehicle. When the females refused, the man allegedly yelled and swore at them. When the girls threatened to call 911, the man drove off.

The suspect is said to be a heavier set Hispanic wearing a safety vest with a red shirt and a hat with the word "Thompsons" on it. The suspect is believed to have scarred hands.

The man was driving a tan sedan with a black stripe. There is also a report that the suspect may have been seen driving a dark blue sedan that was quite loud.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the vehicles is asked to contact the New Richland Police Department.
