Kenyon-Wanamingo is undefeated and plays against Bethlehem Academy Friday night (October 6, 2023) in Faribault. The game will be broadcast on KDHL beginning 6:45 p.m.

Coronation of Homecoming King is Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Van Orsow Auditorium at the conclusion of a Noon pep fest.

Faribault at Red Wing will be broadcast on POWER 96 Radio, 95.9 FM, FREE POWER 96 app. Bethlehem Academy is at home against Fillmore Central Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. Carleton is on POWER 96 at 12:45 p.m. St. Olaf at MACalester 6:40 p.m. Saturday.

Back on May 3rd.the Cardinals and the Buccaneers met in Waterville and the Cardinals held on for the win 6-5. Jump forward to May 22. Same two teams, same location, same two pitchers. Different outcome.

It started out looking like a playoff game in Waterville on Thursday as the Cardinals and Buccaneers went scoreless until the 3rd Inning. Nicole Menard lead off the Cardinal 3rd with a double, Tess Glenzinsk got a walk and the Cards went on to put 4 on the board. WEM answered with a run in the bottom of the 3rd.

The Cardinals knew that even though Southland only had 6 wins on the season coming into the playoff game Thursday night at Van Orsow Auditorium, that it was not going to be an easy game.

The first time around the Cardinals lost by 31 to NRHEG at Van Orsow. Injury was a problem at the time for B.A. Friday night it was a better game. It seemed almost like a playoff atmosphere as the Cardinals tried really hard but came up short. The Cardinals for the most part did not play like a 14-11 team.
