Owatonna’s Celebrates The New Downtown Streetscape. Everyone in the community was invited to attend this event marking the re-opening of North Cedar Avenue.
According to the information packet sent out ahead of Owatonna City Council meetings, one agenda item on the City Council's study session packet, for Tuesday night, stood out. The item of discussion was listed as an update to the City of Owatonna logo.
The marvelous Bold and Cold Winter Festival is right around the corner, and in honor of the event, one Owatonna group is turning into a take-out restaurant for the night.
A 23-year-old Owatonna man has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for having and dealing unregistered guns.
Owatonna has seen a lot, and I mean a lot, of construction in the last couple of months. From Bridge Street to Cedar Avenue to the creation of a new high school, the city has undergone many changes and improvements.
And it seems the developments continue.
This is a bit embarrassing: I must admit. Last month Niche.org graded each Minnesota school district based on numerous factors. The findings indicated one thing. Owatonna and Faribault Public School Districts have a lot of improving to do.
