The MN Department of Health has teamed up with an app called Docket, to provide Minnesotans the ability to carry their vaccination records in the palm of their hand.
Coronavirus numbers are climbing again. Simultaneously, the number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care units across Minnesota has hit a high of 200 for the first time this year, striking concerns of shrinking capacities at hospitals statewide, according to AP News.
Returning students at Minnesota's largest university will be required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine once federal regulations give the shots full approval.
The CDC is now recommending masks be worn indoors by all people in counties that are reporting substantial or high levels of community transmission of COVID-19.
Sesker says, "Keep in mind that the people getting sick, 95 percent of the people getting sick are those that are unvaccinated. So please if you wanna keep kids in school unmasked, keep our athletics and all of our extra curricular activities going, band, choir, get a vaccine. "
