St. Paul police say she was found shielding her daughter from the flames in their burning home.

She was arrested after she was caught starting one of the fires on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

A neighbor called 911 after hearing the sound of propane tanks exploding and seeing a neighboring home on fire, the news release says.
