The Cannon Falls Bombers baseball team wrapped up the Hiawatha Valley League title with a 5-1 victory at John Burch Park in Cannon Falls.

Morgan Wilson threw a 3-hitter for Bethlehem Academy Monday night at Southland.

Randolph, Bethlehem Academy, United South Central, Mankato East, Mankato West, Byron, Stewartville, Lyle/Pacelli, Southland, Rosemount, Farmington, Lakeville North, Lakeville South, Prior Lake, are all rated.

Faribault Falcons won at Northfield and defending Section 1A champion Bethlehem Academy fell at home to #15 seed in Wednesday action.

Faribault and Bethlehem Academy play Thursday in Austin. Falcons in elimination game. Cardinals for West Subsection title against Kenyon-Wanamingo.

The Falcons could host a section game after their win over Stewartville.

The Malecha's Auto Body Faribault, Crunch Time Faribault players of the game were Olivia Smith and Aly Cook. Smith was 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and run scored. Cook delivered an RBI and also held the Bombers in check over the last four innings.

Faribault has a home game with Northfield Monday at 5:00 p.m.

Faribault Falcons baseball dropped two games to Albert Lea. The Falcons softball team defeated Albert Lea 13-3 in six innings at North Alexander Park.

Medford falls to 1-3. Cannon Falls improved to 7-1 on the season.
