Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Elko Express tangles with Minneapolis Cobras in Shakopee while at the same time Dundas Dukes face St. Louis Park Pirates in Green Isle.

Class B action Friday night features top ranked Miesville Mudhens going up against Minneapolis MudCats 7:30 p.m. in Shakopee while New Market Muskies compete against Lyon's Pub Warriors in Jordan.

Jordan joins Belle Plaine, Green Isle and Shakopee as sites for this year's State tournament which opens Friday, August 16, 2024 and concludes on Labor Day.

Class B Semi-finals and Class C Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Sunday.

Opening weekend attendance was down slightly from last year. Dundas had 2, 135 people attend, Faribault 2,025 and Miesville 1,493 for a total of 5,653.

Faribault Lakers Manager Charlie Lechtenberg says they also plan to build a deck down the third baseline which will be "Awesome" for regular season usage as well as the State Amateur Baseball Tournament.

Logan Spitzack's St. Cloud State statistics included 45 appearances, 19 games started, 135 innings pitched, 123 hits allowed, 35 walks, 102 strikeouts, 32 extra base hits. The most amazing statistic to me, only one sacrifice fly allowed in all those innings.
