The State Tournament is being hosted by Faribault, Dundas and Miesville in a couple weeks.

The Lakers will travel to #4 seed St. Benedict on Saturday, August 6, 2022 for a 2:00 p.m. start to open Region 3C action.

Total cost for the Trnka Deck in Webster was approximately $15,500.

The Lakers host DRS League leading St. Patrick 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Faribault dropped their record to 10-11 while Montgomery improved to 13-9. In DRS action the Mallards are 12-7, Lakers 8-7 according to the schedule listing on the Minnesota Baseball Association website.

Faribault Lakers Manager Charlie Lechtenberg says they also plan to build a deck down the third baseline which will be "Awesome" for regular season usage as well as the State Amateur Baseball Tournament.

The State Class B and Class C Tournaments will be in Faribault, Dundas and Miesville next summer.

In 1930 Claremont became the first team to suffer a game called by the 10-run rule. LeSueur defeated them 15-0. It was the only trip to state for a Claremont team according to MBA records.

Two Faribault Lakers were drafted. St. Patrick drafted Nate Rost, St. Benedict took Joey Grote.

In the Region 5C Tournament Cannon Falls pitchers allowed 2 runs in 4 games with 3 shutouts.
