Target Giving Raises to Employees During COVID-19 Crisis
We're learning a lot about everyday heroes during this crisis. I don't know about you, but I sure do appreciate retail and grocery workers a whole lot more now. These people are risking their own health to make sure I can get my family the supplies we need.
Target employees are going to get bonuses ranging between $250-$1500 and will receive a temporary bump in pay to reward their extra efforts during this challenging time. According to Forbes, "Target employees will receive a $2 raise at least until May 2. Target currently pays its employees a minimum wage of $13, with plans to increase that to $15 by the end of 2020. The company said that the raise will put a total average of $240 to $480 more in worker's pockets."
