The Donut Runner is back! Remember Jayson Gonzalez, the 21-year-old from Champlin, up near Coon Rapids? He's the guy that was driving down to Iowa, buying a bunch of Krispy Kreme donuts, and crossing state lines to bring 'em back up to Champlin, where he had customers ready and waiting.

Well, if you remember that, you probably remember when the news got out, Krispy Kreme got all "Rarrr!" on him and lawyers told him to knock it off. Then they changed their minds when the internet machine laid into the Kreme Kings.

It's been about 4 months since then, and according to the Pioneer Press, Jayson's donut gig is back on, in a beautiful new van with huge donuts and The Donut Guy in huge letters on the side (a gift from a benevolent group).

He's doing it to pay off his college loans, and since the new van has space for over 400 dozen donuts, at $20/dozen, he could be paid off by next year.
