This Faribault Kwik Trip Is Really Closing At The End Of April!

I saw a post on social media, last Friday, April 1st, that was from a Kwik Trip worker in Faribault. In that post, they alleged that the Kwik Trip Store, #744, near the Faribault Middle School was slated to close at the end of the month. I decided to email Kwik Trip's corporate office to see if this was for real or just an April Fool's Day prank, and sadly it is indeed true, Kwik Trip Store #744 will be closing at the end of the month.

The email sent from Kwik Trip's Naomi Froyum a District Leader for the company read as follows after I emailed asking about the status of the convenience store which is located on 9th Ave SW.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your inquiry about Kwik Trip #744 in Faribault. Yes, we have made the decision to close this store permanently. The last day open will be April 30^th.

We are very grateful that we could serve our community for as long as we did and look forward to serving our guests in our other three locations in town.

As indicated in the email from Kwik Trip's Naomi Froyum, the store will be closed at the end of the month, but there are still three other Kwik Trip options for fans of the convenience store to stop at for gas or groceries.

The remaining Faribault locations will be:

1405 MN-60 W (the intersection of 4th and Lyndale)

102 5th Ave NE (across the Faribault viaduct)

1112 2nd Ave NW (between downtown and the Farigrounds)

It's sad to see a store, like Kwik Trip close in Faribault, it's unclear what will happen with the workers at the location, they may be transferred to other locations, or they may be out of a job.
