The Museum of Failure showcases 159 products and services that were essentially big mistakes.

However, these failures paved the way for some truly fantastic inventions.

This museum, curated by Dr. Samuel West, a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in organizational psychology, is meant to show people how failures can eventually lead to success while also providing a bit of comic relief.

The website explains:

"Every item provides unique insight into the risky business of innovation—and, let's face it, the majority of innovation projects fail at some point. But that's okay, because embracing failure and taking meaningful risks paves the way for real innovation and progress."

Visitors can expect to see classic catastrophes such as the disappointing Coca-Cola BlāK (pictured below) and the 'overhyped' 1957 Ford Edsel, among many other famous and not-so-famous failures.

(The wall of failed Oreo flavors is fantastic! Could you imagine Limeade Oreos?)

The exhibit is officially open to the public on the 2nd Floor of the Mall of America. It is expected that visitors will spend about an hour and a half touring the museum.
