Thousands of Bottles of Mike’s Hard Lemonade Dumped on Interstate near Stewartville
Traffic on I-90 near Stewartville was impacted early this morning after a semi-truck crashed into the median. The tractor-trailer rolled, spilling its contents all over the grassy median and forcing one lane to be shut down.
KTTC says the accident happened after the driver fell asleep behind the wheel. The news station reported that the driver needed to be extricated from the cab and suffered minor injuries.
The truck was full of Mike's Hard Lemonade. (Insert alcohol abuse joke here!) The video below shows the mess at the crash site:
