Not everyone in the state of Minnesota has it in for Vikings kicker Blair Walsh.

Walsh, who missed a 27-yard chip shot in the closing seconds that would've won essentially given his team a victory over the Seattle Seahawks in last week's NFC Wild Card playoff game, met with grammar school students on Thursday who wrote him letters of support.

The first graders attend Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine.

The meeting certainly struck a chord with Walsh, 26.

And while he talked about the kick, he also made sure to discuss other matters that are very pressing to the grammar school set:
