Yesterday the Minnesota Department of Health released it's latest data set that takes in the 14-day average of COVID-19 cases per 10,000 in each county in Minnesota. This average is how school districts determine what learning model will be implemented for the students within that district. With the latest data set revealed, Waseca County, was the first and so far only county to go over the 50 COVID-19 cases per 10,000 threshold (50.51) level, since the first week of the 14-day average, which suggests an all distant learning approach for schools.

KARE-11 reported that Minnesota Department of Health's Infectious Disease Director Kris Ehresmann said "health officials have now traced 75 positive COVID-19 cases to a recent wedding in Lyon County in southwestern Minnesota. The cases have been reported in 14 counties, in people ranging in age from 10 to 84. One case connected to the wedding has been hospitalized.
