The Waterville Indians had their fans biting their nails Sunday before scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to defeat the Arlington A's 4-3 at William J. Grose Field in Waterville.  Nolan Grose came to the hill in the 9th inning to get the victory for the Indians.  Tom Gannon started the game for Waterville.

Dalton Grose took the ball in top of the 2nd inning after Arlington scored 2 runs and allowed one run the rest of the way while pitching through the 8th inning.  He fanned 10 batters and walked 4.  Nolan Grose walked 2 and struck out 2 in the 9th inning.

In the bottom of the 9th Josh Cook singled (one of 3 hits on the day).  Nolan Grose (had a home run in the 4th inning) grounded out, cook advanced to second on the play.  Shane Sellner then stroked a double (his second hit of the day) scoring Cook to make it 3-2.

Tom Gannon singled, Sellner goes to third.  Gannon advanced to second on a wild pitch.  Ty Kaus was walked to load the bases and there was a pitching change.  Sam Stier hit a ball to the pitcher who threw home to get Sellner on a force out for the second out of the inning.

Luke Sellner had a 1-2 count before achieving his game winning hit to advance the Indians to next weekend.

Morristown traveled to Minnesota Lake and came home 8-3 victors thanks in large part to the Harmons.  Dad Doug crushed a 3 run homer with sons Landon and Tate on base.  How cool is that?  Landon also had a home run in the game.

Matt Saemerow went the distance on the mound for the Morries win.  The Indians and Morries advance in the winner's bracket and play Saturday at a time and place to be announced.

No score reported for Janesville at St. Peter game on either team twitter feed or MBA scoreboard.  Winner plays Waterville.  If St. Peter then they host.  If Jays then Waterville hosts.

Morristown will travel to Belle Plaine Saturday.  The Tigers declawed the Wells Wildcats 14-4.

St. Clair blanked Le Sueur 7-0 and Jordan crushed Lake Crystal 13-0.  The defending Class C Champion Brewers will host St. Clair Saturday.

Eagle Lake downed Henderson 6-1 in Waterville and Gaylord defeated Blue Earth 9-3.  Gaylord will host Blue Earth Saturday.
