That's right; apparently Tattersall Straight Wheat is the best local choice for whiskey in the North Star State. It's described as having "hints of berries and bananas that leads towards a caramel spice undercut with vanilla." That actually sounds quite delightful.
While I haven't tried Tattersall's whiskey yet, I can confirm that their gin is pretty awesome (try it with orange juice and be amazed). But I'm definitely going to have to pick up a bottle of their whiskey to see if it lives up to the hype.
