Wisconsin Man Accused of DWI, Blames Ryan Reynolds
Look, I love Wisconsin, but a few more stories like this and people will start calling our fine neighbor to the east, "North Florida (FLORIDA!)."
It happened like this. Brandon Ingram is 48. He was driving in Wausau, WI and reportedly crashed into a snowbank. Someone saw him walking away from the car and called the police. Police arrived and according to WISN, Ingram admitted he'd been drinking, but said he wasn't driving the car.
Who was driving the car? Apparently, Ryan Reynolds, you know, from the movies. What was Reynolds doing in Wausau? No idea. I checked Wikipedia to see if he had some Wisconsin roots.
Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, film producer and screenwriter, best known for playing the Marvel Comics character Deadpool.
I learned nothing from that Wiki page, except Ryan Reynold's middle name is Rodney,. That's kinda cool. Good for trivia, or something.
Now, I suppose Mr. Ingram could be lying about who was driving, but if not, I sure hope Ryan reads this and comes to help his buddy out. Otherwise, Ingram is looking at a $25,000 fine and a 12-and-a-half year prison sentence.
