Yummo! Here Are the Best Made In Minnesota Snacks
Hungry for a snack? Why not reach out and grab a Minnesota-made (or invented) snack? We have a lot of options for deliciousness.
The Top Ten Minnesota-Made Snacks
There is no particular order for this list, these are just the ten most mentioned made in the Land of 10,000 Lakes snacks I heard during my survey.
There are some I enjoy as often as I can, like a Pearson's Salted Nut Roll. Just had one Saturday as I was shopping at the Ace Hardware store at Crossroads and I was feeling hangry and was being all grouchy with my sweetie-pie, Diana. Bought one for both of us. Did the trick. I wasn't hangry, and she was willing to deal with me for a few more minutes.
Could that have been accomplished with a Snickers or a bag of Dorito's? Maybe, but we know the Salted Nut Roll did the trick, so I'm going to go ahead and say Thank Goodness for Minnesota-Made Snacks!

I Don't See Top the Tater on the List?
Where's Top the Tater? It's not on the list. It's not a snack. It can augment a snack, like an Old Dutch potato chip, but on its own, not a snack. "Well, that Gunflint Trail Jam isn't something you have on its own!"
Son, I don't know where you grew up, but here we don't talk to our elders like that.

I didn't really have a nickname as a kid. They just called me Rabe has Rabies and, well, you can see how that's totally lacking in nicknameness. The kids in my grade school just weren't very good at naming stuff, but here in Minnesota, we are much better at the task.
