Meet Walter, he's a cat of about 10 years and was found a year ago after being outside in a snowstorm. Walter is this week's featured adoptable animal, so let's try and find him a home.

According to our friend Michaela at the Mower County Humane Society "It’s been 1 YEAR for Walter and still no home. Walter is an adult cat of about 10 years of age and was found in Lyle, MN after he was brought in by a concerned citizen during a snow storm. Walter had been outside for a while as he was very malnourished and had a wound on his back. Even though he had a rough life on the streets it didn’t harden him one bit! Walter is one of the sweetest guys who are so excited about the possibility of a family and forever love."

You can adopt Walter for $50 with an approved application which you can find here.  All of the adoption fees include age-appropriate vetting, testing, and alteration!

I've also come armed with a great update on two recently adopted cats from the Mower County Humane Society.

Oliver and Tare were adopted out on June 23rd and seem to really be doing well in their new home.

As a reminder whenever you about a pet from a shelter, any shelter, it often takes some time for that animal or animals to be acclimated to their new surroundings, so patience is key to having success with your new pet/pets.
