Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - For the third time this year, a motorist was clocked at more than 100 mph in Rochester.

A Rochester man was charged with reckless driving and speeding after a patrol officer caught him driving his 2008 Infinity at 109 mph in a 45 mph zone in the area of 11th Ave and 20th St SE. Under a plea deal, 20-year-old Revan George pleaded guilty to the speeding charge. He was placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay $1100 in fines and fees.

Court records show he was caught driving 101 mph on I-90 in Winona County in 2016.

His most recent case happened in July, about a week before a Stewartville man was caught driving at 103 mph near the 40th St bridge on South Broadway. A Rochester teenager who was caught speeding near Century High School in April was clocked at 130 mph.
