It's time for our weekly adoptable animal of the week, and this week we see ourselves promoting a cat that has been at the shelter for 6 going on 7 years, and it's time we got Frank into a home of his own. Frank is a cat that has been at the Mower County Humane Society since 2014.

Frank, is a cat on the shy side, which is one of the reasons that he is probably still at the Mower County Humane Society. Just because he is a little shy doesn't mean that with some patience and time Frank won't warm up to being inside your home, and offering up some great companionship.

According to our friend Michaela, a volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society, Frank "is around 6 years old and is a little on the shy side. Don’t let that scare you as it just takes him a little time to get aquatinted but it’s worth the wait! He is great here with other cats and would be a perfect addition to a family with older children who understand his shy demeanor."

Somewhere there is a home out there that would be a great fit for Frank. Are you looking at getting a new-to-you pet? Frank might just be that perfect addition to your home.

You can adopt Frank for $50 with an approved adoption application, which you can get by clicking here. Also please remember that the Mower County Humane Society is open by appointment only, and appointments are for those with approved applications, if you've got questions about Frank or another one of the pets available for adoption feel free to contact the Mower County Humane Society at: (507) 437-9262

Spring is the time of year we see Girl Scouts out hustling hard to sell their scrumptious cookies. We all know that the price of a box has gone up, but do you know how much the price has increased? Thanks to finance.yahoo.com, we now know.
