AmazonFresh Launches in Minneapolis

Minneapolis is one of only three cities getting AmazonFresh (for now). This comes at a very convenient time since Coborn's recently announced that they won't be delivering in the Twin Cities anymore. Yep, AmazonFresh is a grocery delivery service!

You can order "fresh produce and meat, grocery items, and items in the health and personal care, home & kitchen, and toys categories," reports Bring Me the News. Of course, this great service comes at a cost.

First of all, you need to have Amazon Prime to utilize AmazonFresh ($119 a year). Then you have to pay $14.99 more to add AmazonFresh. You'll get your groceries delivered within two hours but it's only free with a minimum order of $35. If it's under $35 then you have to pay a delivery fee of $5.99. Also, if you want it delivered to you in less than an hour that'll also cost you extra.

I've never used a grocery delivery service. Is this pricey compared to other options? Or is this pretty typical? Or maybe they're cheaper than the competition!
