The Faribault American Legion was once again the home of the 15th annual fundraising event for Ruth’s House, which offers transitional housing for women and children who’ve experienced domestic violence or abuse.

Part of the event is a Fund a Need Auction that raised over $41,000. This will allow for the replacement of doors and windows at Ruth's House.

Another popular part of the event is the dessert auction and there was also a silent auction and Wine Wall auction.

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar had originally planned to attend, but was stuck in Washington, D.C., but did send a video and another presentation was made by Carleton College students in which clients and staff talked about what Ruth’s House has meant to them.  St. Olaf College’s Manitou Singers led by director Therees Hibbard provided some of the musical entertainment.

KDHL/Power96 team member Jamie Jensen provided some entertainment as well. Check out more about Ruth's House here.
