Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Austin man was among the two Minnesotans arrested today on charges connected to the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The FBI says 29-year-old Daniel Johnson was taken into custody this morning by Special Agents from the agency's Minneapolis office and Austin Police officer. The FBI also announced the arrest of 42-year-old Brian Mock of Minneapolis.

Officials say information about the charges against the two men and their alleged actions at the U.S. Capitol will be released later today by the Justice Department.

At least 5 Minnesotans have now been charged with being involved in the siege, including a Rochester woman. 39-year-old Victoria White is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, violent and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, impeding or attempting to impede law enforcement officers performing official duties, and obstruction of justice/Congress.
