Benefit For Kevin Estrem This Saturday at the Northfield Ballroom

Saturday evening there will be a benefit for Rice County farmer and pork producer from Nerstrand Kevin Estrem. Kevin was diagnosied with cancer last spring. The benefit will be this Saturday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Northfield Ballroom 1055 Minnesota Highway 3. It is located close to the Case IH and John Deere stores in Northfield.

During the benefit they will be serving pulled pork, baked beans, corn, coleslaw, potato salad, bars and milk. There will be a silent and live auction and a 50/50 raffle. I was told that more than 100 items have been donated for the silent and live auction. Over the decades Kevin has done so much for the community. This is an opportunity to give a little back to Kevin and the Estrem family!

In the picture is Rice County Fair Manager John Dvorak presenting Kevin with the Friend of the Rice County Fair Award.
