Faribault senior Olivia Williamson scored 4 of the Falcons 6 goals in a 6-1 home victory over Mankato East Tuesday.  Williamson is now tied for third in points in the state and 4th in goals.  The leader board includes players from both classes.

Senior Abigail Goodwin is 12th in goal scoring with 11 goals.  Williamson has 13 goals.

Senior goalie Mikayla Bohner is tied on top in the state for wins with 7, is 8th in goals against average at 1.12, 9th in save percentage .944.

Northfield sophomore goalie Maggie Malecha is 4th in save percentage .954 , 10th in goals against average 1.17.

Faribault jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period while outshooting Mankato East 9-4.  1:29 into the game Ashley Rost scored assisted by Grace McCoshen and Rylie Starkson.  At 4:57 Olivia Williamson buried a puck thanks to an assist from Emily Wilder.

3:41 into the second period Haley Lang scored from an assist credited to Serenity Knott.  At 5:51 Williamson scored a shorthanded goal with an assist to Grace McCoshen. 11:08 Williamson had a power play goal.

After two periods the Falcons were up 5-0.  The Falcons had 21, the Cougars 13 shots on goal.  The final tally was Faribault 30, East 27.

Mankato East was 0 for 3, Faribault 1 for 1 on the power play.

12:20 of the third period Mankato East got on the scoreboard when Evey Johnson scored with assists to Kaylee Eykyn and Sydney Kanstrup.

14:31 of the third period Williamson got her last goal, unassisted to cap off a 4 goal night.

Faribault hosts Rochester John Marshall Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
