Beware of Construction in Owatonna Starting Tomorrow!

There are two construction projects that could cause some delays starting tomorrow in the Owatonna area.

The first will be along Highway 14. Construction crews are delivering bridge beams from Hwy 14 eastbound to westbound. It'll take place between Steele Country Road 45 East and I-35 West. Traffic will be stopped for about 15 minutes in order to allow these beams to be transported. Construction will be 8 PM on the 19th - 2 AM on the 20th and then start again at 8 PM on the 20th - 2 AM on the 21st. Hopefully, this project won't delay too many people due to the time of day it is scheduled for!

The next project will cause lane closures along I-35 south of Owatonna on the 19th. The construction crew will be pouring the concrete bridge decks on the Steele County Road 18 bridge, which passes over 1-35, so there will be lane changes along that route during the daytime hours.
