
Bonding Bill Funds Several Projects in SE Minnesota
St Paul (KROC AM News) -The Minnesota legislature ended its 2018 session late Sunday night after acting on some major bills.
A bonding bill with a cost of nearly $1.4-billion was approved and it includes funding for several projects in SE Minnesota:
$22.8-million for a planned major makeover at RCTC
$2.5-million for a new bus garage in Rochester
$640,000 for the Lake Zumbro project
$10.2-million for a veterans home in Preston
$8-million for the National Eagle Center in Wabasha
$2.5-million for Oronoco’s wastewater treatment project
Legislative leaders expect Gov. Dayton will approve the bill but may line-item veto some of the projects.
