Due to flooding concerns in Southern Minnesota, the City of Faribault said they will be providing sandbags for residents that need them "if, and when, flooding occurs."

There's a very good chance that there will be a lot of flooding this spring. There's a ton of snow and if the temperatures climb fast enough we might be in trouble.

If you're worried about your home flooding, you can check out ways to help prevent flooding in your home HERE.

As the City of Faribault's Facebook post says, if you need sandbags now for a localized flood (like a flood in your backyard that's getting into your home) you can contact the Faribault Fire Department at (507) 334-8773.

If there's any flooding that you think all residents should be aware of, let us know!
